In 1995, Roger Lisy and Brian Duddy joined together and founded Break Thru Enterprises. With over 20 combined years of experience in demolition estimating, planning and site management, they concluded that there was a niche for a company that did a better job of focusing on the details...the details that result in a higher quality job. Their hands-on experience taught them how to manage a demolition project from beginning to end and to do it safely and within budget. In the beginning, Break Thru concentrated on interior demolition and in its first few years was assigned projects at some of the most prestigious buildings in Chicago.
In 2002, Break Thru took a major step forward with the addition of its Total Demolition Division. With this strategic expansion, Break Thru could now do it all, the interior demolition as well as the tear down of complete buildings up to four stories high.
In its first decade of business, Break Thru has grown to be one of the most successful demolition companies in the Chicago area. Fair practices, safe working conditions, efficient service and personal attention have helped Break Thru win some of the most complex projects put out to bid. Customers have found that having a dedicated project manager, superintendent and foreman assigned to every project results in greater accountability and better results.
